Supervision towards full licensure

(MFTs in D.C. and MD, LGPCs in MD)

It is a joy to guide new therapists to become the best therapists that can be. In supervision I strive to provide a caring, supportive space that also challenges therapists to stretch beyond their comfort zone.

I seek to equip supervisees with deepening clinical skills, build their confidence, and tend to self-of-therapist work.

Although I encourage supervisees to practice from a wide variety of models, the models and theories that have most impacted my personal therapeutic lens include: experiential, solutions-focused, polyvagal theory, Gottman, Bowen, and play. I strive to be trauma informed in all of my work. I am experienced working with clients at a variety of ages from preschool through adulthood through family, couple, and individual therapy.

I am an AAMFT approved supervisor and am an approved supervisor by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. I can provide supervision in both D.C. and Maryland.

Family Therapy training and supervision

(All licensures)

Someone great once said, “Education is the acquired awareness of how little we know.”

I believe that we are lifelong learners and that, as therapists, oftentimes the longer we are in the field, the more we want to learn. For those who want to increase their knowledge of family and couples work, I provide ongoing supervision and training to mental health professionals of any licensure.

I can provide tailored trainings to small group of therapists (for instance, consultation groups or agencies). In addition, I can provide individual or small group consultation and supervision focused on family and couples work.
